Can I hire a popcorn or candyfloss machine without staff?
t Unique Entertainment, we supply our popcorn and candyfloss machines with trained attendants. We do not offer these machines without staff.
Popcorn machines have hot surfaces, and candyfloss machines contain a heated spinning head. Incorrect operation can cause burns or other injuries, so safe handling and supervision are essential.
Hiring a machine alone means taking on responsibility for its safe operation, food hygiene and serving the public. Organisers should also check that their insurance covers the activity—machine hire should never be assumed to include public liability cover for whoever operates it.
Our service includes public liability insurance and attendants with Level 2 food hygiene training. We handle setup, operation, serving and packing away, giving you an experienced team to manage the equipment while you enjoy your event.

Your quote will explain the equipment, attendants, ingredients, serving supplies, transport and serving hours included in your booking. Tell us your event location, guest numbers and preferred service times so we can put together a suitable package.
Do you offer unlimited popcorn and candyfloss?
Yes, unlimited-serving packages are available for an agreed service period and expected number of guests. Guests can return for more during the booked hours.
“Unlimited” refers to servings during that agreed period; portions are freshly prepared and served as quickly as the equipment and team can produce them. We agree the arrangements with you before booking.
How long can you serve for?
Serving hours are arranged around your event. Whether you need refreshments for a school afternoon, a wedding reception or an evening celebration, let us know your timetable. Your quote will clearly state the agreed start and finish times.
Can you provide popcorn and candyfloss outdoors?
Yes. For outdoor events, we normally use our food trailer, which provides a sheltered space for preparation and serving.
We will need suitable access and a level place to position the trailer. Tell us about any gates, narrow entrances or site restrictions when enquiring.
Can you set up indoors?
Indoor setups may be available, depending on the venue, access and available space. Please tell us whether your event is indoors or outdoors so we can recommend an appropriate arrangement and confirm it with you.
What power and space do you need?
The requirements depend on the equipment and setup booked. We confirm the power supply, space and access needed before your event.
